Individuals possessing a DN from an ACNE (formerly known as ANACOA) recognized or accredited school and a license from a state that offers a DN license (IL, NM, OH, Scandinavia). A licensed DN member has full privileges including voting rights. The Licensed DN (Doctor of Naprapathy) category within the American Naprapathic Association (ANA) is tailored for seasoned professionals who have achieved licensure in naprapathy. As licensed naprapaths, members in this category enjoy exclusive access to a comprehensive network of peers, ongoing education, and resources that support their continued excellence in holistic healthcare. This membership recognizes the expertise and commitment of licensed naprapaths, providing a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and professional development. By joining the Licensed DN category, members affirm their dedication to the highest standards of naprapathic practice while contributing to the advancement and recognition of naprapathy within the broader healthcare community.
Unlicensed DN and those from other healthcare professions. Do not have voting rights. Cannot be elected to any elected ANA office; however, can be appointed to unelected positions per appointment by the ANA board. The Professional Affiliate / Non-Licensed DN category within the American Naprapathic Association (ANA) is tailored for individuals who, while not licensed naprapaths, play a significant role in supporting and contributing to the naprapathic community. This membership option welcomes professionals from allied and integrative fields, such as healthcare researchers, educators, and practitioners. Members in this category gain access to a vibrant network, educational resources, and events that facilitate collaboration with licensed naprapaths. RETIRED LICENSED DN - Same requirements as a Licensed DN but possess a retired DN license. Full privileges include voting rights. The Retired Licensed DN (Doctor of Naprapathy) category within the American Naprapathic Association (ANA) is specially crafted for seasoned professionals who have dedicated their careers to naprapathic practice and are now enjoying retirement. This membership recognizes the valuable contributions of retired licensed naprapaths, offering them continued affiliation with the ANA community. Members in this category benefit from staying connected with their peers, accessing resources, and participating in events that celebrate their legacy within the field of holistic healthcare. The Retired Licensed DN category fosters a sense of community and appreciation for the wealth of experience these individuals bring to the naprapathic profession, honoring their lifelong commitment to the principles and practice of naprapathy.
A graduate (up to 3 years) who has earned a DN degree from an ACNE (formerly known as ANACOA) recognized or accredited school. May be working as an advanced or senior intern but does not yet have a license. No voting rights. Cannot hold an elected office; however, may be appointed to unelected positions per approval by the ANA board. The Naprapathic Graduate Intern category within the American Naprapathic Association (ANA) is tailored for individuals who have graduated from a naprapathy program but are not yet licensed practitioners. This membership option provides recent graduates with a bridge between education and professional practice, offering support, resources, and networking opportunities to facilitate a smooth transition into the field. Members in this category gain access to valuable tools for career development, mentorship programs, and updates on industry trends, empowering them to build a successful naprapathic career while working towards licensure. A student or intern at an ACNE (formerly known as ANACOA) recognized or accredited school. No voting rights; however, may serve as a non-voting “intern representative. The Naprapathic Student/Intern category within the American Naprapathic Association (ANA) is tailored for individuals currently enrolled in naprapathy education or undergoing internship programs. This membership provides aspiring naprapaths with valuable resources, mentorship opportunities, and a supportive community to enhance their learning experience. Members in this category gain access to educational materials, networking events, and a platform to stay informed about the latest advancements in naprapathic care. By joining the Naprapathic Student/Intern category, individuals forge connections within the professional community, preparing them for a successful career in holistic healthcare through the guidance and support of the ANA.
The American Naprapathic Association's Public Membership category is designed for individuals who have a keen interest in naprapathic medicine. This inclusive membership option is open to the general public, welcoming anyone who wishes to stay informed about the principles and practices of naprapathy. No voting rights; however, can be appointed to “public representative” position to ANA board. Encouraged to participate in ANA committees for community outreach. Public members gain access to educational resources, updates on the latest developments in naprapathic care, and opportunities to engage with like-minded individuals passionate about natural, non-invasive approaches to health. Whether you're a health enthusiast or simply curious about holistic well-being, the Public Membership offers a gateway to a community dedicated to promoting and understanding the benefits of naprapathy.
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP - Schools or programs of Naprapathic Medicine that are recognized or accredited by ACNE (formerly known as ANACOA). “Institutional representatives” for schools or programs are encouraged to participate in “institutional committees” of the ANA. The Institutional/School Membership category with the American Naprapathic Association is tailored for educational institutions dedicated to advancing the field of naprapathy. This membership option is ideal for naprapathic schools and institutions that are committed to promoting excellence in education, research, and practice within the realm of holistic healthcare. By joining, institutions gain access to valuable networking opportunities, collaborative initiatives, and resources that support the growth and development of naprapathy education.
